Second round of golf today! When we get back to the hotel, we will have lunch out by the pool and take some time to relax. Tonight, we are going back to the area where the golf course is and having a beautiful dinner at Xanadu! This mansion was built in 1930 and declared one of the Seven Wonders of Architectural Works in Matanzas in 2002 and National Monument of First Conservation Degree in 2013. The house was built by Irénée du Pont as a home in Cuba on the Hicacos Peninsula…overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this is the official 90 mile mark from Key West, Florida and many people have traversed this body of water including Diane Nyad

Today is an optional day of golf or a day to explore the area on your own. Classic cars are available outside the hotel to deliver you to Downtown Varadero for some souvenir shopping! Or just lay on the beach all day and enjoy the private bar! Tonight, we will celebrate our visit to Cuba with dinner on the beach starting with cocktails at sunset followed by an authentic Cuban dinner and live music! A Cuban festival is the best way to celebrate our time in this island nation!

Today we say Adios to this place that has stood the test of time and changes in their lives. The hospitality of the Cuban people is beyond reproach, and they love to share their culture with all the guests that come to their island. Grab a quick breakfast and we will head to the airport for our flight back to Miami. We greatly appreciate you joining us on our adventure to one of our favorite places - Cuba!
