Centerline Adventures and Chef Sam Diminich loved our first culinary experience in Havana so much we are going back in January! But it will be bigger and better than the first one, which is not an easy task to recreate greatness, but we are up for it! After the FIRST EVER colloboration dinner with Chef Alberto in Havana, Sam has decided he wants to prepare meals 3 times at 3 different venues, so we will add a beautiful home built in 1916 and being renovated by our friend, Nerea Vera, the Rooftop Restaurant at Tribe Caribe Boutique Hotel and dinner at the exclusive private beach house in Tarara! We are working with Chef Sam, owner of Restaurant Constance in Charlotte, NC, to develop a strong culinary experience that other Chefs will want to participate in and share their knowledge of the food world as well as learn from the super Chefs of Cuba! Along with this aspect of the adventure, we will venture throughout the city to experience more of their very lucious culture including art while visiting Milton Bernal, who has developed a technique using tobacco leaves as his canvas. Cigars are now #3 in the importance of culture for Cuba but worth our visit to one of the oldest tobacco farms in Pinar del Rio, tobacco capital of Cuba! And then there's the music! We will be blown away with this never ending talent of young and old artists who will entertain us with their particular genre of music and we will go away with the sounds, sights and tastes of this beautiful country that will live in our hearts for a very long time!
