Day 1 Settling into Pistoia!

The adventure begins as all guests arrive at Florence Airport in the afternoon, where a private bus transfer awaits to whisk us away to our stunning Tuscan villa in the Province of Pistoia. We will have exclusivity at this 13 bedroom Italian style Villa with our own pool! The scenic 30-minute drive provides a first glimpse of the rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and golden countryside that define the region. Upon arrival, we will enjoy an early check-in, allowing time to settle in and soak up the tranquil surroundings.
As the sun sets, our group gathers for a private wine tasting at the villa, hosted by The Wine Club, Italy, offering a curated selection of local vintages and expert insights into Tuscan winemaking traditions. The evening concludes with a light, welcoming dinner, easing us into the rhythms of Italian hospitality—unhurried, indulgent, and unforgettable.

Day 2 Lucca Tour

After a relaxing Italian continental breakfast, we will depart for the walled city of Lucca, a Renaissance gem rich in history and culture. A guided exploration leads us through its ancient city walls, charming piazzas, and the Puccini Museum, celebrating the city’s most famous composer.
Lunch in Lucca offers a taste of regional flavors before an afternoon stop at Enoteca Vanni, a hidden wine cellar where we will enjoy a curated selection of Italian wines. The evening is highlighted by a Puccini concert, a magical experience that brings the city's musical legacy to life. A classic pizza dinner near the walls concludes the day before returning to Pistoia.

Day 3 Coastal Day (Bulgheri/Pisa)

Following a delightful Tuscan breakfast, we set off for Pisa, home to the iconic Leaning Tower for the obligatory photo op and the grand Piazza dei Miracoli. A short exploration captures the highlights before continuing to the Bolgheri coastline for a seaside lunch featuring fresh local seafood and wines.
The afternoon is dedicated to an exclusive winery tour in Bolgheri, renowned for its Super Tuscan wines. As the sun sets, we will unwind with an aperitivo in the charming village (Aperol Spritz or Limoncello??) before enjoying a gourmet dinner in Bolgheri. The evening ends with a scenic return to Pistoia.

Day 4 Farm to Table Tuscany Style

The morning starts with a visit to Pistoia’s local market, where we will join Chef Sam in selecting fresh ingredients for the evening's meal. The journey continues to Caseificio, an artisan cheese producer, where we will tour the production facility and sample freshly made pecorino and ricotta.
A farm-to-table lunch at Poggio Alloro offers breathtaking vineyard views and a rustic yet refined culinary experience. After a stroll through the medieval town of San Gimignano, we will return to the villa for an exclusive wine tasting with Joe Fattorini of The Wine Show and Riccardo Gavelli, Sommelier of The Wine Club of Italy. The tasting includes a cigar-pairing experience from our resident Cigar Aficionado, Vivian Melendez from Havana, who has paired Cuban cigars with wine chosen by her and Riccardo! The evening culminates with a farm-to-table dinner prepared by Chef Sam.

Day 5 Journey to Chianti

A leisurely breakfast sets the stage for a day in the Chianti region, beginning with a visit to the medieval walled village of Monteriggioni. After visiting this walled village, people have said they could now go home because of it's extraordinary beauty. We will explore its historic charm before indulging in a farm-to-table lunch featuring Chianti’s rustic flavors.
The journey continues to Panzano, home to the legendary Dario Cecchini, the world-famous butcher and culinary showman. An aperitivo sets the tone before an unforgettable dinner at Antica Macelleria Cecchini, where Dario brings Tuscan steak traditions to life. After a full day, we will return to Pistoia for a restful evening.

Day 6 Truffles & Cooking Class

The day begins with a truffle hunt in the rolling hills of Montalcino, where expert foragers and their dogs lead the way in search of this prized delicacy. The morning’s treasures are incorporated into a truffle-infused lunch and live cooking demonstration paired with exceptional Brunello wines.
The afternoon continues with a private wine tasting at Sesti, a hidden gem where we will enjoy robust, full-bodied reds in a magical vineyard setting. Returning to Pistoia, the evening is filled with laughter and celebration at a pizza party with games and Italy's famous DJ Cippo, ensuring a lively and memorable night.

Day 7 Finale di Firenze!

It's our final full day so after breakfast, let's go to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance! A private walking tour awaits us through the city's historic streets, majestic piazzas, and iconic landmarks, including the Duomo and Medici Palace.
For those seeking a final indulgence, an optional guided tour of Florence’s top fashion districts offers an unparalleled shopping experience. Between touring and shopping, you can stop into Oratio, the #1 Wine Bar in Firenze, for a complimentary tasting hosted by Riccardo Gavelli and his team of expert Sommeliers.

Once back in Pistoia, a special event for the LADIES awaits at the Farmhouse where Vivian Melendez will share with us the greatness of a Cuban cigar! Later, with final toasts and a celebratory farewell dinner, we will mark the end of an unforgettable Tuscan experience!
