The Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to the Magic City! Also known as Miami, a city founded by JULIA TUTTLE in 1896, and one of the most amazing places on Earth and the only city in the US founded by a woman! Now known for its Latin culture, we will join Charles Kropke, CEO of Dragonfly Expeditions, as he leads us through Little Havana to meet and enjoy the Cubans who have brought their different cultures and now own their own businesses and live their lives in Miami – many generations ago! An award-winning tour, Charles and Dragonfly Expeditions will bring to life the success stories starting in 1960 to the present day!

It's Stone Crab season! Dinner on your own so take advantage of this delicacy while in South Florida!

Day 2
Bienvenido a Habana! After a short flight to Jose Marti International, we will be met by our private coach who will take us to the beautiful Hotel Aston, built 2 years ago located on the Malecon overlooking the Straits of Florida where we will call home for the next 5 nights. Today starts our visit to Old Havana and many of the iconic buildings that share great architecture dating back to the 1500's. Christopher Columbus landed in Havana and fell in love with the country's beauty!

After lunch at Chacon 162 where our friend and owner, Jose Hector, will instruct his gracious staff to make our special Cuban Sandwich by Cuban Chefs in Cuba!! Pair your lunch with mojitos or Cuban beer for an authentic welcome to Havana! We will have our first visit to Milton Bernal's art gallery where he will share his unique and one of a kind artwork while we enjoy his hospitality of cigars and espresso. Let's head back to the Hotel Aston and rest up for our first evening out!

Tonight's dinner will be enjoyed at Al Carbon, owned by Chefs Ivan & Justo, who have greeted many International leaders in their eclectically decorated restaurant. An amazing all girl band will entertain us on our first night!

Day 3
Today is a favorite for many of us that have visited Cuba. Habana Compas Dance is our first stop this morning to experience an extraordinary performance of percussion and those that dance to it. Eduardo Cordova is the artist behind everything that happens here from the paintings of and on the walls, building the chairs used in the performance and all the instruments played. He has developed a program for kids with autism that Centerline Adventures is partnering with to bring to the States. This is a very exciting performance and will have you on your feet! From here we will visit Fusterlandia, a home made from mosaics and tiles by Jose Fuster that is beyond description. His neighbors worked with him to create a street of homes that look like his! Great art work is available for purchase at these homes.  We found a really cool place for lunch called MUSA that reminds us of South Beach in Miami. Tonight we will meet Ada, the owner of the only wine bar in town, PlanH - Enoteca & Deli where we will enjoy wine & tapas with live music!

Day 4
Hemingway loved women so today we will visit his farm, Finca Vigia, which he owned from 1939 to 1960 and lived there with Martha Gellhorn whom he was married to until 1945 and found the farm, and his last wife, Mary Welsh until he moved back to Idaho and ended his life. The farm is a museum of his life and times in Cuba where he wrote To Whom The Bell Tolls and Old Man and the Sea. His favorite boat, the Pilar, sits on the property and is kept safe from destruction. We will head back to Old Havana and visit some art galleries, cigar stores and the car museum. We will stop by El Floridita for our tradtional Papa (Hemingway) Daiquiri and pictures with Ernest's statue! Tonight we are going to join Chef Alberto, Michelin Star recipient, at his restaurant, Salchipizza, for an interactive dinner! We will help set our own tables, prepare some of the entrees and pour our own wine all the while being shown by Chef how things are done in Havana! This will be a great treat as his hospitality is second to none! Music will be provided by a beautiful woman who is a violinist!

Day 5
YOGA! People travel from all over the world to Cuba just for Yoga because of the beautiful venues available, from the beach to rooftops. We will be posting up at the El Morro, Castle of the Three Kings, overlooking the skyline and port of Havana, while enjoying the breeze from the bay. Our next adventure will take us to Finca Vista Hermosa, a privately owned farm who grows produce for the locals, raises their own livetock, and makes their own cheese from cows, buffalo and goat milk! Horseback riding is a fun activity around the farm so be prepared!! An afternoon back at the Hotel Aston for spa treatments and relaxing time around the pool or walking down the Malecon!

Time to get down with some salsa lessons, great food, beautiful view from the rooftop and conversations with some women who have spent their lives in the cigar industry in Cuba! Owned by Deborah Garcia, La Terraza de Abel, will share wonderful Cuban hospitality in this very cool environment!

Day 6
BEACH DAY! Christopher Columbus landed in Cuba on October 27, 1492 and said it was “the most beautiful land human eyes have ever seen”. Today we will see one of the beaches he made that statement about. Clear blue water of varying color and white powdery sand and no overcrowding!

We will be hosted at a private beach house owned by our friends, Andres' Levin and Chris Cornell. The house is extraordinary and recently renovated located on a private beach, with our own staff preparing an amazing barbeque lunch!  Breathtakingly beautiful environment!

Tonight we will be experiencing an event created by one of our best friends, Vivian Melendez! She will curate a special evening on the Rooftop of one of the beautiful hotels in Havana to include heavy appetizers, wine and rum drinks, music, fashion and accessories and, of course, her speciality, Cuban Cigars! We will mingle with some of her other guests and use our Salsa techniques we learned last night!! At the end of this event, we will be picked up by our personal Classic Car rides and taken to a fun place called Espacios where we will listen to the sounds of Big Bros, the only band in Havana who plays Classic Rock! There's something very satifying about hearing Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Journey, and many others played by a Cuban band!

Day 7
Our last stop before ending our week will be a visit to Cocoblue & LaZorra Pelua, owned by Jose Fuentes and his partner, Rita McNiff. Rita, a native New Yorker, has made her home in Cuba and has become a great friend! She will share Jose's (we call him Jeff) story that led him to be a great scupltor known in many parts of the world. His work is on display at the restaurant where we will enjoy Mojitos and complete our "Memories and Mojitos" adventure! Before reaching the airport, we will visit Jeff's "family" and you will then understand and appreciate the story Rita will share with us.

As we say adios to Havana and Bienvenidos to Miami, we greatly appreciate you joining us on our adventure to one of our favorite places -  Cuba!

We hope you’ll feel “Havana in My Heart” for years to come!
